EUGENIA ORTIZ

Eugenia Ortiz is a Los Angeles–born, Kansas City–based multimedia intuitive artist whose work explores the intersection of intention, neuro-arts, and healing. Raised by her mother with the philosophy of The Magical Child by Joseph Chilton Pearce, her early education—beginning at the University of Southern California Child Development Preschool and continuing through the arts-focused 32nd Street Magnet School—established a deep foundation in creative exploration. Through layered mixed media, natural materials, and large-scale murals, Ortiz creates immersive environments guided by intention, inviting connection with the soul and collective well-being.

IDRIS HESTER

Idris Hester, Shamanic Angelic Practitioner and drum-circle facilitator, learned early in life that he could connect to the pulse of the universe. Through rhythm, he discovered belonging, purpose, and the heartbeat within all living things. This connection carried him through some of the greatest challenges of his life—and ultimately shaped his mission.

From these experiences, Idris developed Drummunication: A Transformational Experience (DATE)—a unique drum- and percussion-based method for healing and holistic wellness. DATE guides participants to calm their spirit, restore balance, and transform life Spiritually, Mentally, Physically, and Emotionally. It opens the door to higher consciousness and deeper connection to oneself, to others, and to the world around us.

Idris has survived eight neurosurgeries over more than 40 years. Despite being told he might not live—or might never walk or talk again—he relearned both after each surgery. When diagnosed with a fourth brain tumor in 2007, he chose a different path and healed through his own programs alongside support from world-renowned healers. His journey is the foundation of Drummunication and his commitment to helping others reach Perfect Health, Wellness, and Healing for Wholeness.
